A  first onstage look at a fascinating way of life

The Glory Road is a behind-the-scenes showbiz love story set in the 1950s rural south. A young couple is torn between faith and ambition. He's a handsome and charismatic country boy inspired to become a preacher - building his flock and his reputation just as televangelism begins to transform religion. She's a provocative and spirited honky-tonk singer who falls in love with him and leaves Saturday night behind to join him on Sunday morning. Together they sing gospel and rockabilly, saving souls in their own unique style. Their popularity grows and they draw thousands to their tent revivals - until fame comes calling and threatens to pull them apart.
